Pat Leahy is another 'soccer' player who became a highly successful place kicker in the NFL, and played for the New York Jets from 1974 to 1991. The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Men's Soccer Championship, sometimes known as the College Cup, is the main American intercollegiate college soccer tournament. Leahy won three titles playing with the St. Louis University Billikens in 1970, 1972 and 1973. While playing for the Jets he completed 71.4% of his field goal attempts and 85.5% of his extra points and in 18 years he never had a kick blocked.
