Football cards and stickers issued around the world, from the 1880's to the present day and even some that haven't been issued yet. I don't have any cards for sale, nor do I provide valuations, this blog is just a means of passing on information I have gathered over many decades of collecting. Alan Jenkins.

Soccerstarz Collector Cardz
Soccerstarz
661 cards so far
More Soccerstarz have been released this season, up to a maximum of 661 at the moment. The first six numbers listed are those unidentified from previous lists. There are many missing from the rest of the list. Any help with adding further names to the checklist would be much appreciated. I'd like to thank Juan Pablo De Luca for the photo of the Uruguayan cards shown above, though I don't have the numbers for all of them.

Bernard Kleckner - Kleckner Cab Cards
1980/90s
Kleckner Cab Cards
Bernard Kleckner
USA
22 cards (1 Football)
Bernard Kleckner of New York created these cards by colourizing old black & white photos using coloured chalk. He typed the backs on a typewriter. This gives them a crude 'home made' appearance. They are, however, well-written and researched. The cards were printed on glossy card stock at Solomon Printing. Only 400 of each was printed. Cards with Bernie Kleckner’s NYC Taxi Medallion number (2M25) are worth slightly more, as they were created during his tenure as a cab driver (1981-91) and are harder to find. Kleckner usually gave a free card to his passengers in order to encourage repeat business, thus they are also called 'cab cards'.

48 cards
Various printings of this series as listed below. The first 24 cards are hand-drawn images of the players, whist the second 24 cards are photographic. The various printings are listed here in the order they appear in the Cartophilic Handbook, but I don't think this is the order in which they were issued. They must have been issued over a fairly long period though, as there are a number of varieties known, and these are listed after the checklist.
