4 cards known

Garry Daynes has discovered a hitherto unrecorded set of football cards. The cards are not numbered and are numbered here for reference purposes only. Thanks to Jon McKenzie for the scan of one of these very rare cards, the other image comes from the entry in the Cartophilic Society of Great Britain magazine.

385+ cards (80 football)

The cards measure 149mm x 100mm and are similar to the Sportscaster cards issued in various countries a couple of years previously. The biographies on the back are in Serbo-Croat and written in Serbian Cyrillic. The highest numbered card is 385 but the numbering starts at 55, though there are 56 known unnumbered cards. The checklist is not complete, there are five numbers missing - 356, 358, 367, 379 and 381.

48 cards

Mark Hughesdon has provided information about an error in this collection. Card 45 should be Marco Gabbiadini, as indicated by the biography on the back of the card, but they have used an image of his younger brother, Riccardo Gabbiadini, who was also at Sunderland that season. I've added a correct image of Marco Gabbiadini, taken from the Bassett set for 1991/92.
