Football cards and stickers issued around the world, from the 1880's to the present day and even some that haven't been issued yet. I don't have any cards for sale, nor do I provide valuations, this blog is just a means of passing on information I have gathered over many decades of collecting. Alan Jenkins.

2005
2005 Football Cards
Soccer Weekly - 足球周刊 (China)
3-6 cards
I've now got complete checklists for the years 2005 to 2010, most of those issued in 2011 plus the 'T' and 'H' series of cards, some of which were given with special issues of Soccer Weekly. As most these cards feature the best clubs and players in the world, and many collectors concentrate on one club or another, and on collecting the cards of some of the best players, I thought I'd start at the beginning, listing all the 2005 cards. Over the next few days I'll also list the cards from subsequent years and finally cover the 'T' and 'H' series.

Famous Footballers (Postcards)
H.A. Bambrough
6
Postcards during this era usually came in sets of six for some reason. So I presume there are at least another four postcards to be found. I'm not sure when they were produced, both these players were at Sunderland from around 1908 until the First World War and I'd expect them to have been issued earlier rather than later.

Blackpool FC Player Postcards
W.J. Beck, Blackpool
?
These postcards were issued some time around the 1910-11 season. I only
know of those players listed below, and for some I've been able to confirm which seasons they played in the first team.
Kidd (1910-11 - 1914-15)
Burt (1909-10 - 1910-11)
Dale (1910-11 - 1912-13)
Blewitt
Hilton
Peter Quinn (1910-11 - 1919-20)
James Galt - Glasgow Rangers FC Footballers
1911-12
Glasgow Rangers FC Footballers
Galt, James
Scotland
Unknown number
Only one postcard known to exist, and this is a poor photocopy. James Galt was a newsagent and tobacconist and during the 1911/12 season produced a set of postcards of the Glasgow Rangers players. How many different postcard were produced is anyone's guess.
William Reid, Rangers FC

Oldham Athletic 2010-11 Sticker Collection

I don't know anything about this collection. There don't appear to be any identification on these stickers, so an album would be needed to compile the checklist. Can anyone help?

I found this illustration the other day, I wasn't going to include it as it's the only card I've seen for this collection. It seems to have been cut from the wrapper. 11 players for each team...

ClubCall - Football Club Phonecards (1989-90)

Football Club Phonecards
ClubCall
Unknown number
There were different versions issued over the few years that they existed in the late 1980s and early 1990s. These cards are the ones with other clubs phone numbers on the back. Some come with team groups or action scenes on the front. Others with fixture lists on the back.
There used to be clubs for phonecard collectors, specialist books and magazines too. I have no real knowledge of these, I just know they exist. If anyone can point me in the direction of a good website or informative publication, I would be glad to hear from them.
Did ClubCall issue cards for your club? 34 listed here, but there must be many more.
