World Cup 1982
Topps
65 cards known
This set was never actually issued, so compiling a checklist is almost impossible. Topps vault have been selling, what they call progressive proofs from time to time and examples of these are shown above - a maximum of nine cards for each player. I would be grateful for any further information on these cards.
I've listed known players...
UPDATE (22-09-2022 11:25): Archie has provided a photo of all the Steve Sumner cards.

I have a Steve Sumner set as well & a full 9 card set of Diego Maradona
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know, I'll add Diego Maradona to the list - that's an amazing set!
DeleteI remember when i bought these in 1995 I was also offered the set of Johan Cruff as well but declined them.🤦🏻♂️ But bought the set of Steve Sumner instead.🤷🏻♂️
ReplyDeleteHow can I send you a picture of them? Email?
ReplyDeleteYou can e-mail it to me - I don't give out my e-mail address anymore as I am in poor health and have 100's of unanswered e-mails, but I'll look out for yours.
