Mark Avenell has sent in scans of these stickers issued in Romania. They seem to be unnumbered but the relative season is printed on the front. The stickers measure 62mm x137mm. I bet they didn't produce a card of David Taylor, the Porthmadog (League of Wales) player who the competition in 1993-94.

130 cards ?

Gregory Graetz has sent in another checklist for this collection issued in Sweden. The cards measure 28mm x 50mm. The highest number known is 130. There are still 25 names missing for this checklist, any help to complete this checklist would be much appreciated. We don't have images of any of the footballers in this collection, but King Gustav V is as good a replacement as you could get.

UPDATE (30-10-2015):  Gregory Graetz has provided information on a similar set which can be found here - Syster Gretas - Svenska Idrottsmän (1930).

36 cards

Ali Murat Atay has sent another  checklist of cards issued in Turkey....
This series I like a lot. It seems it was produced shortly after the 1982 World Cup. Unfortunately the producer is unknown. It is typical of 80's cards; bad printing, bad cardboard, bad ink... but all that makes it all more nostalgic in a way.
It's called 'World Cup 82 Football Game' or 'Dünya Kupası 82 Futbol Oyunu'. Out of the 24 teams at the 1982 World Cup their choice of players is interesting. Nothing from 7 of the teams, including the hosts Spain, Russia, Scotland... But there are player cards from Kuwait, Peru, Algeria, Hungary, and the most interesting to me - a card with a New Zealand player. Three of the cards are team photos, the cup winners Italy, along with the teams in 2nd and 3rd place.

1A.  Zoff (Italy)
2A.  Roberto Rojas (Peru)
3A.  Dziuba (Poland)
4A.  Pezzey (Austria)
5A.  Foster (West Germany)
6A.  Antogononi  (Italy)
7A.  Merian Masney (Czechoslovakia)
8A.  Kunde (Cameroon)
9A.  Rossi (Italy)
10A.  Maradona (Argentina)
11A.  Rummenigge (West Germany)
12A.  1982 World Cup Champions - Team Photo (Italy)

2B.  Tibor Nyilasi (Hungary)
3B.  Kamel (Kuwait)
4B.  Cabrini (Italy)
5B.  Juan Carlos Oblitas (Peru)
6B.  Boniek (Poland)
7B.  Keegan (England)
8B.  Lato (Poland)
9B.  Petroviç (Yugoslavia)
10B.  Zico (Brasil)
11B.  Platini (France)
12B.  1982 World Cup 2nd place - Team Photo (West Germany)

The six pennants shown here sold on eBay a couple of days ago for a staggering £1370.02. These have always been known to be very rare items that are rarely offered for sale, but even a price of over £200 per pennant is difficult to understand. Here's a link to the item - 1960’s Vintage Original Bubblegum Football (Paper) Pennants. The auction was standing at £616 but in the dying seconds three collectors each bid over £1,000. Thanks to MrMikie for passing on some information about these.

96 cards

Rare cards, that have appeared in Cartophilic Society reference books in a couple of guises, as listed above. Very rare cards, the players are listed here by surname. They are usually found with plain backs, but some, perhaps all, can be found imprinted on the back with a Poppleton rubber stamp.

When I originally compiled information about this collection I wasn't too bothered about recording the team caption as it appeared on the card. Speed was of the essence, WHU and QPR were quicker to write. I've amended team names so that they are shown in full. Only those marked *** are confirmed as being as they appear on the cards.
UPDATE (23-06-2015):  Bob Thomas has been in touch to let me know the captions on the cards for some of these cards. All those from Bob's notes are identified with ^.
UPDATE (24-06-2015):  Updated from 1920s to 1923. See the comment from Lee West below.
UPDATE (25-06-2015):  Mark Hughesdon has been in touch with the correct caption for the G. Lennon card.
UPDATE (09-07-2015):  Paul Briers has sent in some scans allowing me to update a few more cards. Paul's amendments are identified by ***~. I've also been able to confirm and amend a few others - just looking for confirmation on the following 5 cards - F.F. Cownley (Arsenal), A.E. Langford (Merthyr Town), F. Moss (Aston Villa), A. Roe (Arsenal), J. Whibley (Crystal Palace).
UPDATE (03-05-2016):  Michael Parsons has sent in a scan of A. Roe that confirms the team name as Arsenal F.C. The list has been amended accordingly.
UPDATE (30-10-2016 12:02):  Two more players have been updated - Moss (Aston Villa) and Langford (Merthyr Town), that leaves just two more to check - Cownley (Arsenal) and Whibley (Crystal Palace).
UPDATE (03-03-2020 22:43):  Date amended again from 1923 to 1922, after reviewing all the comments.

96 cards

Following on from Robert Muat's comments regarding card no. 1:
According to a former workmate who knew Jacky Watters, the player on the front of the card is not him, and this player is wearing a Motherwell kit. Jacky died in 2012 aged 92.
I decided to do some research and thanks to the help of some members of Steelmen Online, a messageboard for Motherwell fans, it seems the photo is Watters, not Jacky as indicated on the back of the card, but Willie, who was at Motherwell from 1947 to 1951.
Willie Watters is second from the left in the group of players celebrating their League Cup victory in 1950-51.

Mark Avenell has come across these cards issued in Bosnia. The images seem to be similar to computer wallpaper. There's no information on the cards and some players appear more than once. Mark has sent scans of all the cards he knows about, except for the Barcelona ones.
A total of 78 cards are shown here.
The text on the back of the packets translates as: If you find a prize coupon take it to your dealer where you will receive valuable prizes - ball, jersey, football boots, cell phone, flags.
UPDATE (01-05-2016 16:13):  Thanks to Igor Crnojevac this collection has been identfied as a Plivač release. I have posted a number of articles about this collection without realizing they were are from the same set. They have now been updated with the correct information.
