The six pennants shown here sold on eBay a couple of days ago for a staggering £1370.02. These have always been known to be very rare items that are rarely offered for sale, but even a price of over £200 per pennant is difficult to understand. Here's a link to the item - 1960’s Vintage Original Bubblegum Football (Paper) Pennants. The auction was standing at £616 but in the dying seconds three collectors each bid over £1,000. A very rare and unusual roll of the Football Club Crests. There are 16 different teams on the roll.
I have actually seen sheets of 4 crests and it's possible they were cut from a roll similar to this one.

I've been sent scans of the front and back of a sticker or stamp that is based on the A&BC stickers known as 1966 World Cup stamps. The A&BC issue is rare enough but I've never seen any stickers similar to the one shown at the top.
Can anyone identify this sticker?

A bit of fun this time. I know of two cards in this collection that feature football. I apologise for the fact theat one of the two illustrations is of poor quality. These cards were also issued in Australia by Scanlens, though I would expect the football/soccer cards would have been replaced by something else, and might have been issued in the United States by Topps. The A&BC Gum Scottish Pennants from 1968 you listed, you can add Airdrie, Dundee, Dunfermline and Kilmarnock to your list. These four came up for sale on e-bay in 2009 and made £247. I only took a copy of this listing so I am unable to give you a scan of these.

These pennants were given away with the 1968-69 Yellow backed Footballer cards issued by A&BC. In the 1960's and 1970's A&BC issued different collections for the English and Scottish markets. The English version of the pennants is made up of 26 different clubs. Only 3 Scottish clubs are known to exist, but do not include teams like Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeen. I found it impossible to find a scan of one of these pennants anywhere, except for this St. Johnstone one on Nigel Mercer's superb site: Nigel's Webspace - Galleries of English Football Cards 1965/66 - 1979/80. If you've never seen it, check it out. You won't be disappointed.
