Two different versions of this set, one with black backs (issued in 1989) and the other with blue backs (issued the following year). I always like finding football cards in non-football sets and spotted this Dennis the Menace card whilst perusing Mark Edwards' superb Flickr site. I don't have this card, so I've included examples of the two different coloured backs by using other cards from the collection.

UPDATE (10-02-2026 21:12):  I've had an e-mail from John Levitt:

I have both sets and I can confirm that both sets are different. The football card only appears in the Blue Back set and is card 41. I have enclosed a scan of both sides. There are 4 different coloured packets for each set with each colour featuring a different character, Desperate Dan, Roger the Dodger, Minnie the Minx and Dennis the Menace.

I have updated the post accordingly.
