If anyone can help, please get in touch, otherwise it will mean a trip to the British Library Reading Room to search through their bound volumes of The Champion story-paper. The illustrations above have been supplied by Paul Briers, check out his brentfordfcmemorabilia website.

100?

Roger Pashby has sent in photos and a very detailed checklist for this collection...
There are fifty pages of small square pictures of famous sporting people, film and musical stars of the 1930s, each with a ‘cut-and-stick’ autograph, usually three to a page. This includes a few  ‘blank’ pages where other autographs and/or small square (unnamed) personalities have been stuck in.
The centre ‘spread’ is a printed double page of the autographs of the touring South African Test Match cricket team. It’s a really, really good item, rather like The Champion Famous Footballers Autographs album of 1937, but a bit more ‘cluttered’.
I've got details of three of the sheet of autographs and pictures, which I'll post later.
