The front of these cards contain images that belong to the Speed-Sport Thrills set, turn them over and you find Sporting Queeriosities. I only know about 10 of the reverse sides but I am assured that the missing two do not feature football at all. A folder made of card was produced to hold the cards.

I have included two previous posts about this collection, without knowing exactly what it is. I now know that this 52 page album is also called Autographs (like the 1935 issue). This time the cover design is divided diagonally into four sections coloured yellow, green, red, and blue, and was given a way with issue no. 801 of The Champion, dated 5 June, 1937. This issue also included the first sheet of 10 autographs.

Knowing my affinity to Cardiff City, Roger Pashby has sent in a scan of the page of Welsh Internationals from this album, with two Cardiff City players included. Of the other players Bob John was trainer at Ninian Park in the 1950s and Billy Hole was the father of Cardiff City player and Welsh International, Barrie Hole.
