Sepia team photos that were intended to be cut out and collected. Players are identified at the bottom. I don't have any illustration to go with this piece though. Can anyone help?
UPDATE (27-06-2024 23:52): PaulH has provided this photo of a Sheffield United team cut from an issue of the Sheffield Weekly Telegraph. It's undated but Paul thinks it probably comes from 1930-31 season. Percy Thorpe joined the Blades for the 1930-31 and according to my records Billy Gillespie played his last game for Sheffield United that same season. I originally had these team photos dated to around 1935-36 but I've decided to generalize the date to the 1930's.

Hi Alan, I have just acquired a 'Leading Football Clubs - Sheffield United'. I can email you a photo. Don't know whether it is this series or not. The date wouldn't match though. Given the Blades players in the photo, it would date from around 1931-1932. cheers Paul
