Gregory Graetz has provided a link to an auction for these wrappers. They seem to date from 1950 but they are anonymous a no-one seems to know where they come from. Also included is a Real Valladolid wrapper with the clubs emblem but this item seems to be from a different collection and will be shown separately. Can anyone provided any further information?
UPDATE (11-12-2024 18:15): The date has been amended from 1950 to 1951, see the comment from Greg below.

ReplyDeleteI've taken another look at your post for these candy wrappers. I'm pretty confident that it should be 1951, not 1950, based on the following:
1. The Kubala photo matches the same one used on a couple different cards issued by other companies that are confirmed to be 1951.
2. I've noticed a few postings for them on todocoleccion advertising 1951.
3. Cata joined R.C.D. Espanol for the 1951-52 season, after having played for Alcoyano in the 1950-51 season.
