Football cards and stickers issued around the world, from the 1880's to the present day and even some that haven't been issued yet. I don't have any cards for sale, nor do I provide valuations, this blog is just a means of passing on information I have gathered over many decades of collecting. Alan Jenkins.

32 cards
The four main comics published by D.C. Thomson gave away similar cards over an eight week period. These cards are usually found cut, so you'll usually get the Famous Towns & Crests without the Famous Ship attached. They are much harder to find in the complete uncut form.

From tomorrow, 19 May, Welt Fussball Stars cards will be given away at Real Supermarkt in Germany - a pack of 4 cards for every 15 €uros spent. Any help with compiling the checklist would be much appreciated. Updated thanks to Danju Twentyfourseven and Stiggr, all 54 names are now included in this checklist.

90 cards
Another collection of cards issued in celebration of this summers World Cup. These are from Austria - packets can be bought but are also free when 10 Euros is spent in their shops. An album is also available to purchase. I hope to be able to add to the checklist over the next few days, there are only 3 missing and I'll be updating this list rather than do a new checklist....
UPDATE (06-08-2018 20:15): Thanks to an Anonymous comment the two Brazilian Stars cards have been added to the checklist and the missing no. 11/90 has also been identified, so this checklist is now complete.

It has been suggested that the Wayne Rooney card shown above is an error card. It's the only card in the collection that includes '19' with the date of birth. You can see that the Aaron Ramsey card doesn't include '19'. It is rumoured that a replacement card has been issued where the '19' has been removed. Can anyone confirm this? Please send a photo or scan of the back of the card if you can.
