UK Traditions - Football World Stars ~ Set 1/2

2006

Football World Stars ~ Set 1/2
UK Traditions
USA
30 cards each

It seems likelt that some if not all of the first set were re-issued when the second set was published. The second set has rounded corners at the top of the cards. Lionel Messi can be found with square corners and rounded corners.

UPDATE (09-06-2020 21:43):  Both sets were issued in 2006, the photo of Lionel Messi was taken on the day he scored his first goal for Argentina against Croatia. Thanks to the comments below.

  2. Hi

I can back this up. I have just found out that the picture was taken in 2006 when he scored his first international goal against Croatia:

This isn't a rookie and shouldn't be selling for high amounts in my opinion.
