  1. I have never quite understood why Huddersfield Town don't feature in this set - unless it's because it might be a tad difficult to illustrate 'The Town'. By this time in their history, Town had won the Football League Championship three times in a row - the first club ever to do this - had won the FA Cup and were beaten finalists on three other occasions. What else does a club have to do to gain recognition? Except may have a snappy nickname ...

    1. Yes, that is strange. I can understand why Cardiff City weren't included even that we'd won the F.A. Cup, been Finalists and runners-up in the League in the previous 10 years, but by 1933 we were in Division 3 South after two quick relegations. Not long after, we were applying for re-election!

    2. Interesting. I always thought Huddersfield were called "The Terriers". Is that a relatively new thing?
