Chris Lee has been doing research via the British Newspaper Archive and sent me a bunch of images extracted from images of newspaper pages and all relating to supplements given away with Ideas - the popular illustrated weekly. I think these relate to photos similar to a Sheffield Wednesday supplement shown earlier last year - Ideas - Football Teams 1908-9 (8¾" x 11½"). Some issues of Ideas were published on Fridays and others on Thursdays though it's possible that neither of these dates is the cover date but it's the publication date that I have used to identify each of the teams. They seemed to start with just one team which, I presume was available everywhere, then they brought in a different one for Scotland and then another different one for Ireland. Later adverts refer to photographs being issued relating to different areas of England. This is the information we've compiled so far.
