Paul Bowditch and I have so far discovered the origins of four of the cards, all taken from original cards issued by Greiling Zigarettfabricken in Germany including one that shows a scene from an Arsenal v Newcastle United game.

UPDATE (10-02-2025 15:11):  Paul Bowditch has found the source for card number 1061, showing it to feature Josef Pöttinger. The original card is part of the Bulgaria Sport-Photos collection.
