Tom Broadley played for Bingley RFC (rugby union) from before 1893 to 1896, he first represented England against Wales on 7 January, 1893 and gained a total of 6 caps. He also represented Yorkshire while at Bingley RFC, which is how he probably came to be shown on this card. He later played for Leeds and Bradford rugby league teams.
