55 known postcards

Terry Kramer has provided a lot of information about the coloured and b&w Sunday Mail Junior Sports Club cards. Here's a list of 18 additional b&w cards he has identified.

I attach a scan of a flyer to advertise one of the Sunday Mail Junior Sports Club Rally's. This one was held in Dundee. I suspect that these cards were handed out or could be purchaed at these meetings which likely took place all over Scotland at the time. Certainly the players are all clearly posing in 'action' for the camera with what looks like some sort of screen backdrop.
And a club wouldn't be a club without a club badge, and one is shown here.
The most recent list of 37 cards can be found here - Sunday Mail Junior Sports Club - SUN-250-1 / SURR-1-1A Scottish Footballers (B&W) (2).

21 large cards known

Terry Kramer has provided a lot of information about the coloured and b&w Sunday Mail Junior Sports Club cards. He has sent in scans of two more cards and he thinks there are probably more out there waiting to be identified.
The cards were actually produced in 1946/47. I have cuttings from the Sunday Mail with dates of that time. The jerseys of some players on the cards when the pictures were taken also back this up. As another side note, the Club was likely formed or certainly headed by the famous journalist of the time "REX" R.E. Kingsley. In an era in Scotland before the Scottish Football Writers' Association started their own Player of the Year award, the 'Player of the Year' awarded in the Sunday Mail by "REX" was prestigious enough to be properly recognised.
These cards are quite large, measuring 8" x 5". The original list of 19 known cards can be found here - Sunday Mail Junior Sports Club - SUN-250-2 / SURR-1-1B Scottish Footballers (Colour).

Lee West has found another card that he doesn't recognize...

Have you ever come across anything like the attached? I got it from a French seller on eBay. It is large card (approx. 195 x 160mm) and judging from the number 40 on the rear, is part of a series. My French isn't great but I have worked out the card is post 2004/5 as the text mentions Forest's fall to the third tier. The front is Jack Burkitt receiving the F.A. Cup from the Queen in 1959. I have no idea who the issuer is or the series.
Anyone?
