There was so much going on before the World Cup I missed this item. Cristiano Ronaldo's 2018 Panini Rewards Kaboom! Green 1/1 card, showing him during his time at Juventus, sold on 23 May, 2026 for $1.35 million via a Fanatics Collect private sale. It's the most expensive Cristiano Ronaldo card, and second highest for a football card, just behind the 2004-05 Panini Mega Cracks Lionel Messi rookie card that sold for $1.5 million in 2025 and just ahead of the 1958 Alifabologet #635 Pele rookie card that sold for $1.33 million in 2022 - football's first $1 million card.
