I came across this image recently. I'd never seen them printed in blue, I don't know which comic they come from but it might be from the back page of The Champion as the cover is usually printed with blue ink.
UPDATE (30-09-2024 14:58): The Champion has been confirmed as the source for the blue version. They first appeared in the issue dated 6 August, 1938.
