In 2017, he was drafted by Toronto FC and played for the club's reserve team (Toronto FC II) but he was released after his first year and joined Bethlehem Steel FC for one season. Aubrey then switched to American Football and played for the Birmingham Stallions of the United States Football League (USFL) in 2022 and 2023 before being signed by the Dallas Cowboys in 2023. He made his debut in a 40-0 win against the New York Giants. He currently ties for the all-time record for most field goals without missing at the start of a career, at 18. His longest, at 58 yards, came in Sunday's 40-23 win against the LA Rams.
