San Diego Loyal SC's last ever home game takes place this coming weekend when they take on Oakland Roots SC at the Torero Stadium on Saturday, 7 October, 2023. San Diego Loyal SC made their debut in the USL Championship in 2020. The club has failed to secure their own stadium and with the MSL announcing a San Diego expansion team that will start in 2025, a decision was made to close down the club. The game has been designated a Fan Appreciation Night and all fans will receive a free team photo.
