On 6 June, 2023 FC Barcelona played Vissel Kobe in a special match celebrating the career of Andrés Iniesta. Iniesta joined Vissel Kobe in May 2018 and has decided to leave on 1 July, 2023. FC Barcelona won the match 2-0 with goals from Franck Kessie and Eric Garía.
