Epoch Cards have produced examples of what the 2021 card design will look like. These images are mock-ups and not actual cards. The J1 League is scheduled to kick-off on 26 February, 2021 and end on 4 December, 2021 and there are 20 teams this year as there was no relegation in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The two new teams are Tokushima Vortis and Avispa Fukuoka.
