Steve Marsh has provided scans of this postcard: This cheeky sepia advertising postcard depicts the victorious 1966 World Cup winning captain Bobby Moore. Released by company representative Allan Ball, the eye-catching advertisement gimmick was a play on words with his more famous namesake, Blackpool's midfield player Alan Ball. This particular Mr. Ball spells his christian name with two 'L's' and is not related to the World Cup winner. Size: 165x113mm.
