I'm not sure how many will be aware of the exploits of a small team from Italy's Serie C this week. Pordenone Calcio travelled to the San Siro to take on current Serie A leaders Inter Milan in the fourth round of Copa Italia on Wednesday evening. The score after 90 minutes was 0-0, extra time came to end with still no goals. Pordenone took the lead in the penalty shoot-out but eventually lost 5-4 on penalties. It was a magnificent performance against the best team in Italy at the moment, a team that included Mauro Icardi, Ivan Perišić, Eder and Marcelo Brozović.
Panini were so impressed they produced two digital stickers to celebrate Pordenone's performace in the tie. It's likely that the team will feature in the 'Il Fiilm de Campeonato' section of this season's Calciatori collection.
