Cabinet Card - "English Cup"
Unknown issuer
1 card

A Victorian Cabinet Card, slightly larger than regular postcards. A Cabinet Card usually consists of a thin photograph mounted on a card, typically measuring 108 by 165mm. This one doesn't include any details of the publisher but it shows the F.A. Cup, usually referred to as the English Cup during the Victorian era and through to the late 1920's until Cardiff City won it. The back of the card lists the winners of the trophy from the inaugural tournament in 1871-72 through to 1888, under the heading 'Holders of the Great National Trophy'.
