Thanks to Gary S. for alerting me to this new collection. The new 2025/26 Topps Premier League Bumper Box is big news for fans of the set, and of nostalgia. With 52 cards per box, it’s a great choice for collectors looking to grow their collection - but this latest release takes things a step further. Building upon the Hall of Fame subset introduced at the start of the season, each Bumper Box includes 2 Limited Edition Hall of Fame cards from a new wave of 9 legendary players, whose impact, achievements, and unforgettable moments helped define the Premier League era. I think there are 24 players in the Premier League Hall of Fame but Ryan Giggs is not one of them... absolutely crazy! Releasing a new product just for 2 additional cards when most collectors have finished/nearly finished the main basic collection!
ReplyDeleteI would imagine the other 50 cards are part of squad updates of some kind too. If they just release this with 2 new cards out of 9 it will not sell well.
ReplyDeleteI expect them to announce new subsets and everything like an Adrenalyn Plus collection used to be. Then maybe one more in March/April for the January transfers.
