Almost 10 years ago I published a post on my blog with a comprehensive breakdown of Bob Peden's amazing research into the Sports Favourites cards issued by A. & J. Donaldson - see A. & J. Donaldson - DON-060-1/DOZ-1-1 Sports Favourites (05) - A Specialised Checklist.
Bob has a question mark against one of the 30 Type 1 cards, the ones with a yellow pattern on the reverse. He couldn't confirm the existence of the Stanley Matthews card.
