The annual Upper Deck Night took place on 21 July, 2012 when Los Angeles Galaxy played Chivas USA, a game dubbed the "SuperClasico". 10,000 free packets of Upper Deck MLS cards were handed out as fans arrived. Inside 50 lucky packets was a special "Instant Winner" card, though the card did not state which player they would be meeting.
