Leaf's soccer-only products include autograph cards of many aspiring, young  footballers, most of whom are unfamiliar to me. One or two may go on to make names for themselves at the highest level but most will probably never see their names in the headlines. It seems that Owen Pritchard will be one of those players. He had been at Cardiff City for 14 years, joining the club's academy at the age of 8 and he has featured in a number of Leaf collections over the last couple of years. 

The photo used by Leaf was taken during the Sky Bet Championship Professional Development League 2 (South) match between Queens Park Rangers Under-18's and Cardiff City Under-18's  at QPR's training ground in Harlington, London on Tuesday. 16th March, 2021, but all the relevant logos have been photoshopped out.

Later, in the summer he moved up to Cardiff City's Under-21 squad. He had a serious injury that kept him out of the game for a whole season and he was released by the club in the summer of 2023. He joined Pontypridd United in the Cymru Premier League, but the club were relegated at the end of the 2023/24 season. He then moved to my home town team of Penybont FC, again playing in the Cymru Premier League. At the time of writing this article they are top of the league, with the prospect of playing in European competitions next season.
