Spurs Postcards - Celluloid Badge

I come across three versions of this celluloid badge down the years, but I haven't found any other players, so this might be a one-off. It is produced by Jones Bros. to publicize their Spurs Postcards. the back of the badge reads:

SPURS
Pictorial Postcards
Series of 16
post from 1/1
JONES BROS.
708 High Rd.
Tottenham

Jim Chalmers was a well-travelled footballer by the time he joined Tottenham Hotspur for the 1902-03 season. He had previously played for Greenock Morton, Sunderland, Preston North End, Notts County and Watford. He joined Swindon Town in 2004 and also played for Norwich City and Bristol Rovers.

  1. The word you are unable to read on the reverse of the badge is "Series" so it would appear there should be 15 other players.

    1. Thanks, I think that's it, though the series probably refers to the postcards. They continued to produce postcards of Spurs players up to and after the First World War.
