The 2023-24 competition started a few weeks ago but Topps has been adding new NOW cards during recent weeks with the numbering continuing on from last season's cards. That was OK, because the card designs were the same as the ones for the 2022-23 season. The numbering for these two new cards follow on from the previous 2022-23 cards, but these cards have the 2023-24 design as seen with the one-club NOW cards that have been released during the last couple of weeks.
UPDATE (17-08-2023 18:05): It's 17 August and Topps are still numbering new cards as being from 2022-23 season! It's the 3rd Qualifying Round of the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League tournament next week.
