Ed Emptage has provided scans of both versions of this matchbox label that also features in his brand new book The Official History Of Pompey Cards & Stickers. Follow the link to find out more about the book and how to obtain a copy. The Pompey closed as a public house in 1988 and has been used as Portsmouth F.C.'s club shop, media centre and ticker office. The pub sign was removed and fitted to the rear of the Fratton End stand above the entrance to the Fratton End bar.
UPDATE (10-03-2023 12:48): Martin Bennett has informed me that Southampton also feature in this collection and has provided a photo of the Austrian Matches version of 'Saints Hotel' and has also provided a photo of the hotel's pub sign. It's a pity they didn't use that as the illustration.
