Six years ago Topps implemented the National Baseball Card Day. This year the event takes place on 6 August, 2022, but has been expanded to become the 2022 Topps International Trading Card Day. Hobby shops will be opening special boxes containing 50 packets - 30 MLB, 13 UEFA Champions League and 7 Garbage Pail Kids. The football cards are regular 2021-22 Topps UEFA Champions League cards with the 2022 Topps International Trading Card Day logo added. A checklist will be added at the earliest opportunity.
