1910
Primer Equipo del F.C. Barcelona - Campeón de España Temporada 1910
F.C. Barcelona
Spain
1 postcard
A beautiful postcard with individual portraits of the Barcelona team that won one of two different tournaments where the winners were deemed to be champions of Spain. There was no national league in Spain at the time and the winners of the Copa del Rey were regarded as champions. The 1910 version was a round-robin tournament where F.C. Barcelona and Español de Madrid won their games against Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña and that meant the game between the two teams was deemed to be the 'final' as F.C. Barcelona won 3-2 with goals by Charles Wallace, Carles Comamala and José Rodríguez to be crowned champions of Spain for the first time.
