Jim Donnelly has provided two photos of the A. Raisbeck card. The card at the top has the letter 'R' in 'CIGARETTES' similar to all the other letters in the word. The card at the bottom has a very different letter 'R', with a curved tail, more like the cards in the D Series.
247. A. Raisbeck (Derby County)
I have the G.O. Smith, Oakley, & "A Good Dribble" cards from this series also with the curved R. Any idea if all cards in this series were available with both variations or if some were only issued with the curved R?
ReplyDeleteI have no idea whether all cards come with both versions, though it is possible. I have updated the checklist - Ogden's Cigarettes - General Interest F Series.
