I contacted Piatnik & Söhne to clarify the specific date of issue, but they did not have a record of it. It seems to have been a one-off with a very limited production run. Their response: "Goal the card game was not very popular, unlike Matthias Sindelar, one of the most popular football players in Austria of all times. He was part of the wonder-team and Austria had one of the best football teams of the world. His popularity was highest between 1931 and 1938. Unfortunately the card game does not appear in our price lists between 1920 and 1938, so it must have been made for some one, maybe only in small numbers."
