1910-11
"Comic Life" Second Football Series
James Henderson & Sons Ltd. / Comic Life
30 cut-outs
Paul Chauveau has provided photos of this comic. Comic Life was originally called Pictorial Comic Life until issue 79 and ran from 1898 to 1928, lasting 1,465 issues. The comic was originally published by James Henderson & Sons Ltd, but was acquired by Amalgamated Press in 1920 and merged with My Favourite in 1922. If you can help with any additional information about these football strips please get in touch.
UPDATE (29-10-2024 23:32): The issue featuring Clapton Orient includes are article on the club written by George Hilsdon of Chelsea F.C.. The last line confirms that this is the End of the Football Series for 1910-11 season. Unfortunately the scan is of a poor quality but I've included it anyway. I have also added the Leyton illustration and the article by George Hilsdon.
