About The Currency Project
"The Currency Project" is a conceptual art project designed and implemented by two, gallery-represented, LA artists interested in the concepts surrounding economics, open markets, value exchange, value creation, sports and contemporary fine art. The original concept behind the art cards was to create a unique way to empower communities, interpret market value, and document transparent exchange of value between individuals while making art accessible to a global public. As always, each artwork is hand made by an artist and contain holographic authentication serial numbers. Each Art piece is signed and dated by the artists on the back. Every piece of "currency" is documented and archived in The Currency Project's general ledger.
