These unusual 'stamps' surfaced recently. They are similar to the A&BC 'stamps' issued in the U.K. Information about these items came to light recently and was featured in Football Card Collector Magazine number 35. The article was written by Carl Wilkes. The late John Allen recorded them as being issued in Malta. He had bought the ones shown here from a stamp dealer on the island.
