Last year an unannounced Cristiano Ronaldo/Pelé book card was the only football card in the collection. This year I thought there were no football cards in the published checklist but in a way I was wrong. Card no. 204 features Samesong Park, the proposed new home of Asbury Park Football Club, nestled on top of Asbury Park's iconic waterfront Convention Hall! Check out their social media outlets to find out more about this fascinating "football club"! The glossy cards don't look any different when scanned so I won't be looking to add any of those but I will be looking out for images of the Gold, Embossed Glow-in-the-Dark, Wood and Printing Plate cards.
UPDATE (27-07-2018 00:44):  I did think I spotted another footballer in the checklist - Austin Rogers. There is an Austin Rogers who is an American goalkeeper with FC Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia. I was a little disappointed to find the Allen & Ginter Austin Rogers is actually a Game Show Champion!
