An illustrated checklist, there's so much information on the reverse of the cards so I've shown both sides.
Hi, I have the full set of these. However, the Nottingham Forest card when shown the way you do above (ie on its side the same way as Arsenal, Newcastle, Tottenham Hotspur, Sheffield United and Alloa Athletic) has the back print upside down. Is this a variation/oddity?
That's an interesting point. I must admit I have no idea. When I compiled this illustrated checklist I just used all the scans of the fronts first and then all the scans of the backs, making sure they look as they do in the illustrations. I didn't take any notice of how the backs of the landscape cards lined up in relation to the fronts. I wish I had now. I've looked on eBay and there are a few complete sets in sleeves in the the 'sold items'. All the landscape cards except Nottingham Forest have been turned anti-clockwise before being placed in the sleeves, but the Forest ones have been turned clockwise. Probably just an oddity rather than a variation.

Delete
