This portrait of Lord Kinnaird appeared in issue number 2289 of Vanity Fair, dated 12 September, 1912. Nearly four decades earlier his father also appeared in this series. Lord Kinnaird played in nine F.A. Cup Finals for the Wanderers and Old Etonians, winning five of them. He was president of the Football Association from 1890 until his death in 1923. His full title at that time was Arthur Fitzgerald Kinnaird, 11th Lord Kinnaird of Inchture and 3rd Baron Kinnaird of Rossie.
