This is getting crazy. I thought Panini would have issued Instant cards on a regular basis but to released 31 cards (134 including all the parallels and autographs) is unbelievable and it would have been even more but, for some reason, 5 cards are missing from the checklist. Compiling lists like this is just too much work. From now on I think I'll be updating the checklist but without illustrations. Panini and Topps are killing this hobby because of their greed.
UPDATE (23-06-2026 13:10): Card 8, 9 and 10 will be released today.

Hi I just got the news that Panini China released a new set of world cup trading card with 769 cards (parallels not included), I got a box yesterday and I will send u more information that I get via email

DeleteThanks for the information. I have found the collection on eBay and the internet and I've managed to locate images of all the different card types. I haven't found a checklist yet but I'll add what information I have gathered in a post on my blog tomorrow.

There are 32 Red #/5 Parallels at $29.99 (Livano Comenencia of Curacao) up to $2,999.00 (Lionel Messi of Argentina)
There are 24 Multi 1/1 Parallels at $99.99 (Ali Olwan of Jordan) up to $14,999.00 (Lionel Messi of Argentina)
There are 3 Red #/99 Base Autographs at $24.99 (Crysencio Summerville of Netherlands)
There are 6 Green #/10 Autographs at $124.99 (Joao Neves of Portugal) up to $1,999.00 (Kylian Mbappe of France)
There are 2 Multi 1/1 Autographs at $499.99 (Joao Neves of Portugal & Daniel Munoz of Colombia)
The last card on sale at the moment is number 59 which is Abbosbek Fayzullaev (Uzbekistan) from the match against Columbia - the end of the first round of matches!
So, the total so far is just under $70,000 if you bought all 126 cards - $555.55 average cost per card.
There will be less for the second and third rounds because there are no opening ceremony cards so say there are 120 cards - $65,000 per round.
Then there are 32 further matches and Panini won't hold back so there will be at least 3 cards per match. That's another 96 cards. - $55,000 more!
So a VERY rough total for all of these cards is a totally affordable $255,000 (£193,000).
Quarter of a million dollars - and that's a VERY low, rough guestimate!
And you suggest that Topps and Panini are being greedy! Fortunately they haven't released at least 6 to 10 other collections between them for every continent for the World Cup, THAT would be gree.d.. OH! :-)

I must admit I didn't look too closely. I'm amazed that people will pay these sorts of prices. Personally,I think Panini Instant cards are ugly and most of them seem to be landscape format and I hate landscape trading cards.
