It looks like this postcard was sent in a package, not through the postal system (no stamp or franking). The message has been written by Albert Wilkes. For those who might not be aware, as well as being a photographer and postcard producer he was also a professional footballer and played for Aston Villa from 1898 to 1907. He had previously played for Walsall and later played for Fulham and Cheltenham Town.
