The National Lottery, in collaboration with Panini, presents the National Lottery and Retro Soccer Album, a commemorative initiative that merges the passion for collecting, the tradition of lottery tickets, and the historical memory of major World Cup tournaments. This project represents a strategic alliance between two leading collectors in Mexico, designed to offer the public a unique experience that combines nostalgia, entertainment, and the excitement of participating in traditional lottery draws. Inspired by the iconic World Cup lottery tickets of 1970 and 1986, as well as the commemorative edition "Mexico 2026, One Country, One Passion", launched this year as part of the celebration leading up to the next World Cup, the album recaptures the visual essence of these historical and contemporary pieces, transforming them into an accessible, dynamic collection that resonates with new generations. In this way, the collection not only revives iconic moments from the past, but also continues the football narrative that Mexico is building towards 2026, strengthening the link between tradition, memory, and the present.

How does the collection work?

The collection will begin on Sunday, April 19, 2026, and will unfold through 10 scheduled draws of the Zodiac Lottery. On each date, two collectible tickets will be released, until a total of 20 tickets are available. Each ticket will feature a commemorative retro-style design, becoming a collector's item that will allow participants to progressively add to their album. In addition to its commemorative value, each ticket maintains its traditional essence as an official entry in the lottery, also offering the chance to win millions of pesos in prizes, thus combining the collectible aspect with the excitement of the game. The collection will be available at all National Lottery outlets and points of sale throughout the country, making it accessible to people across Mexico.

Every Sunday, the Zodiac Draw will add two new tickets to this commemorative collection. The collection also includes a special recognition of the 1971 Mexican Women's National Team (Lottery Ticket number 2), highlighting the women who made history in Mexican soccer and strengthening the cultural value of this edition.
