George Best
Ken Stanley Management
4 postcards
A set of 4 postcards produced by George Best's agent, Ken Stanley, who was probably the first of the modern-day football agents. Each of the postcards has a facsimile autograph and message printed in red. Unfortunately, I've only got images of two of them. Ken Stanley was a friend of Denis Law when the player was at Huddersfield Town. He became his agent and his business expanded once Law moved to Manchester United. He was the agent for many top players in the 1960's and 1970's and was involved with most of the promotions for the 1966 World Cup tournament.
