This collection covers a very wide range of subjects and cards are numbered from 1 through to 1148. There are many variations in the design of the base of the cards, something I know very little about. I'm not aware of any footballers but I have come across this card of William Gunn, the Nottinghamshire and England cricketer. He also played football for Nottingham Forest and Notts County.
